Interesting….although flawed in its ability to cover all the bases. There were responses available, althought the good Doctor seemed to be at a loss to present them.
Working on the Sabbath? Didn’t Jesus Himself fall into condemnation from the Pharisees for “Working” on the Sabbath? Jesus’ response was that the Sabbath is made for man, not man for the Sabbath. If you see someone in need would you not help them since it was a Sabbath? People working in Public Safety, Hospitals, etc… would be exempt and could work even on the Holy Day.
Not to mention that the only verse talked about was Old Testament Levitical Law. Well guess what? Homosexuality carried over into the New Testament, especially being detailed in the first chapter of Romans.
Romans 1:24-27 4Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
No matter how unpopular this may be, there simply is no possible way to defend homosexuality using the Christian Holy Bible against Christians. The clear prohibitions against it are in BOTH the Old and New Testaments. Get over it already…. either follow and practice Christianity or continue practicing homosexuality. You can’t do both.
